Ten Fun Facts About Alex Hirsch!

As you know, Alex Hirsch is the creator of Gravity Falls. Here are some fun facts about him!

Alex Hirsch


#1- Alex Hirsch does the voice of Clamantha on Fish Hooks!
#2- Alex actually has a twin sister, but her name is Ariel Hirsch, and she always wore wacky sweaters! She always says that she is the reason the show is funny, so Alex gives Mabel things Ariel wanted like a pig
#3- He used to wear baseball caps all the time when he was little because he didn't like showering and his hair would always be messy.
#4- When he was younger, he was fascinated with the paranormal and his sister, Ariel, would always tease him about it.
#5- His mom used to tell him there were leprechauns in the woods and that inspired him to fashion a leprechaun trap. His mom would sprinkle leprechaun dust and tell him that he caught a leprechaun. He knew she was lying but he appreciated that she would support him
#6- Alex and Ariel actually did have an Uncle Stan! Grunkle Stan is based on him.
#7- Soos from Gravity Falls was inspired by one of Alex's college friends!
#8- Alex does the voice of Grunkle Stan, Soos, and various background characters
#9- He writes the script and the script is based on his paranormal childhood fascination.
#10- Alex Hirsch originally was writing a completly different show for cartoon network called Flapjack when Disney called him and asked him to write a show for them!

    Huh. Really cool actually! I began watching Gravity Falls on accident and the other day, and I realized that it isn't as stupid as most shows.

      Thanks! You're right. A lot of shows on Disney are mostly about high school drama. Gravity Falls is a puzzle, yet it's hilarious at the same time!

    We think that wendy is the one that's bad even though she's so nice no one would have guessed it was her I mean how would a 16 year old as a 12 year old to the dance and look closey they both are wereing bow ties!

      Hmm. Interesting. Wendy may be a very important character later in the show. She's lazy, though. She's not always nice, like in "The Inconviencing", she finds ways to get out of chores. I guess we'll have to pay close attention to her...

    A correction: Alex and Ariel don't have an Uncle Stan. Stan was based on their grandfather Stan, who is no longer alive.

    Did You Know That Alex Hirsch Sister Was In The Gravity Falls Episode Boyz Crazy From Season 2! Plus Tourist Trapped Has To Be My Favorite Episodes From Season 1 And 2 Of Gravity Falls. Wendy Is So Cool. Plus I <3 The Ten Facts About Alex Hirsch. I'M Watching Episodes From Season 3 If There Is A Season 4 I Will Be Watching That Too. And Buying The Gravity Falls Season 1 DVD.
